NEW for 2024 – Vision Plan Network Change
Cigna is changing their network effective January 1, 2024. This means that your current providers may no longer be in the network. The new Cigna network will include 24,000 independent provider locations, and will include providers such as LensCrafters®, Pearle Vision®, Target Optical®, Costco Optical®, Walmart Vision Center® and more. Starting January 1, you can find Cigna providers in the new network by calling (877) 478-7557 or by logging in to mycigna.com. Remember, although you can use any provider, you pay less out of your pocket when you use providers who are in the Cigna network.
Our vision plan covers eye exams, frames, lenses and contact lenses.

What’s Not Covered
The expenses not covered under the vision plan include (but are not limited to):
- Non-prescription eyeglasses, lenses or contact lenses
- Spectacle lens treatments, “add-ons,” or lens coatings not shown as covered in the Schedule of Vision Coverage
- Prescription sunglasses
- Two pairs of glasses in lieu of bifocals or trifocals
Laser Vision Correction
Under Cigna, members and their eligible dependents are granted access to exclusive savings on Lasik Eye Surgery at one of Cigna’s 600 contracted locations nationwide under LasikP/us, TLC Laser Eye Centers and The LASIK Vision Institute. Cigna members and dependents can receive up to $1,000 off the cost of lasik surgery at locations with an “all laser” Wavelight Laser.
