You have access to the International SO​S program for business-related international travel or living abroad. ​This program is available to assist you 24/7 anywhere​ in the world. Services include:

  • Emergency or routine medical advice or assistance
  • Daily email updates on travel security developments
  • Medical or security evacuation
  • Lost document advice or assistance
  • Translation and interpreter services

Personal Travel Protection with New York Life

CF Industries partners with New York Life to bring our employees extra protection during personal travel. A covered person is someone on the current, CF Industries provided plan that is traveling 100 miles or more from home.

During your trip, New York Life can assist with:

  • 24-hour multilingual assistance and referral to interpretation and translation services
  • Referrals to physicians, dentists, medical facilities, and legal assistance providers
    • Arrangements for payment of medical expenses up to $10,000 if required prior to treatment*
  • Assistance with lost or stolen items, including luggage and prescription replacement services*
  • Emergency cash advances, up to $1,500*
  • Advancement of bail*

In an emergency, New York Life is there when things are out of your control to provide you with peace of mind by:

  • Assisting with making emergency travel arrangements*
  • Arranging and covering the cost of transportation to the nearest adequate medical facility; emergency evacuation and repatriation provided, when medically necessary**
    • Arranging for the return of a travel companion or children under age 18 left unattended due to the covered person’s medical emergency
    • Emergency message relay, toll-free
    • Covering round-trip transportation and accommodations, up to $150 per day for up to seven days, for a family member or friend to visit a covered person hospitalized more than 100 miles away from home for more than seven days
  • Arranging and covering costs associated with returning a deceased covered person’s remains to their place of residence for burial

*Covered person(s) are ultimately responsible for any cash advances, expenses, services, and/or bail and must provide reimbursement. Covered person(s) must be able to supply a credit card with sufficient funds.

**Initial transport by ambulance following a covered medical emergency is excluded.
