Eligibility

When you opt-in to Optional Critical Illness Insurance with CF Industries, we provide you with our Teladoc Medical Experts service as a part of your insurance offerings. Teladoc’s network of doctors is comprised of some of the best medical experts in a variety of fields. Through Teladoc’s offered services, you will receive proper diagnoses/evaluation, treatment, or referral options based on your current situation, offering you the peace of mind to move forward on your health journey.

Expert Medical Opinion

A leading medical expert in your particular field will offer you their diagnosis and suggestions on further treatment.

Find a Doctor

When physician referral, Teladoc will take any stress of finding a leading health specialist out of your hands! Teladoc will conduct a personalized search and locate specialists currently accepting new patients for your health concerns.

Care Finder

Similar to Find a Doctor, this service specializes in finding leading experts to book you an appointment. However, this service offers a global search. Teladoc will offer up to 3 recommendations on globally recognized health care experts outside of Canada, when you are in need.

Personal Health Navigator

Teladoc ensures all members receive personalized care that is specific to their own health journey. Personal Health Navigators will offer you one-on-one counseling on a variety of health issues and customize it to your needs. Information on drug-funding programs, health assessment tools, etc. will be made available to you to help you make educated health choices along the way.

Ask the Expert

Feel like your health concerns are too complex to share with a general physician? Send your medical questions to a Teladoc Medical Expert and they will refer it to a doctor who specializes in your condition(s). The doctor will write back with a full report, including answers to any questions they can personally address and/or medical advice on how to move forward.

Mental Health Navigator

Whether you are taking the first step on your mental health journey, or simply looking for a second opinion of a diagnosis, you can reach out to our Mental Health Navigators. They will open a case for you and send personalized communications to help you build out an action plan to seek treatment.

Teladoc recognizes that health benefits should at times extend beyond yourself and your immediate household. Teladoc offers their services to not only yourself, your spouse and your children – they offer it to your parents and parents-in-law as well. To make things simple, you can use services at any time during your coverage and do not have to file a claim to get started!
