We offer a Death in Service benefit through MetLife, which provides your family members with a lump sum of four times qualifying earnings to your nominated beneficiaries if you die in service. Coverage is maintained during periods of temporary absence in respect of injury or ill health and for three years for absence for another reason.

This benefit covers all employees aged 16 up to a maximum of 75 years old and you don’t have to be a contributing member of a pension scheme. It’s important to complete your beneficiary designation form as well as to review your designations at least once each year and especially if you experience a life event change.
